Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the independent operator of aci-capital-partners.com (this “website”) handles information submitted through the experience form and related correspondence. This website is not operated by ACI Capital Partners Inc.

Who operates this website

The website publisher identified on the homepage operates this site as an independent public-information project. Questions about this policy or submitted information may be sent to [email protected].

Information we collect from contributors

When you use “Submit for confidential review,” we may collect:

Supporting documents cannot be uploaded through the form. Do not send sensitive attachments unless a reviewer asks you to use a channel the operator provides.

Why we collect it

Information is collected to receive firsthand accounts for confidential review, to communicate with you when you authorize contact, and to prepare a possible public account only when you separately authorize publication and an administrator approves publication after review.

Submitting information does not automatically publish anything on this website.

Confidential review

Submissions are stored privately and reviewed by authorized administrators. Unreviewed submissions are not shown on public pages or public API responses. Allegations in submissions are not treated as verified facts unless they are supported by independent public records published elsewhere on the site.

Optional contact permission

If you check the optional contact permission, administrators may email or call you using the contact details you provided to ask clarifying questions or request additional information. If you do not grant contact permission, we still store your submission for review but generally will not initiate contact.

Optional publication permission

If you check the optional publication permission, administrators may consider preparing an edited public account after review. Publication requires a separate editorial decision and an explicit publish action. You may request withdrawal of publication permission before anything is published by emailing [email protected]. Withdrawal requests are reviewed manually; they are not processed automatically. After publication, removal may not always be possible.

Anonymous publication preference

If you ask not to show your name publicly, approved publications may display a label such as “Anonymous Contributor” instead of your name. Your name and email are still collected for the private submission process. Anonymity on the public site does not guarantee that every reader will be unable to identify you from context.

Administrative access

Submissions are accessible only to authenticated administrators (protected by Cloudflare Access). Administrators can view original narratives, contact details, consent records, and editorial drafts. Edited publication text is stored separately from your original submission.

Cloudflare Turnstile and service providers

The submission form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated abuse. When you complete Turnstile, Cloudflare processes technical information according to its own terms and privacy notices. The website sends a Turnstile token to our server; we verify the token with Cloudflare before accepting a submission.

Hosting, email notification, and database providers used to operate the site may process data on our behalf. We do not sell contributor submissions.

Security limitations

We use reasonable technical measures appropriate to this project, but no website can guarantee that every transmission or storage system is immune from interception, intrusion, or disclosure.

Retention and deletion

Human review required: Specific retention periods, routine deletion schedules, and legal holds have not been finalized in this policy. Contributors may email [email protected] to request access, correction, withdrawal of publication permission (before publication), or deletion where applicable law allows. We will respond when practicable. Deletion may not be possible for all backups, logs, or records we must keep under applicable law.

Legal disclosure

We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of people or systems. This policy does not create contractual rights beyond what applicable law provides.

Changes

We may update this policy. The consent version shown at submission time is stored with your submission. Material changes to how submissions are handled should be reflected here before they apply to new submissions.

Last updated on the date shown in the site footer. For submission questions, use the confidential review form or email [email protected].
